Rollback netplay for Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection on Windows. Free.

What you need

Your own copy of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online for PS3 (NPUB30009, the 2009 Online version, game version 1.00): its .pkg or game folder.

Its matching licence file: UP0700-NPUB30009_00-UPDATE0000010000.rap.

The original 2007 version (game version 1.01, licence ending in 0000000000000000.rap) is not supported yet. Setup stops at about 23% with it.

Both files must be from the Online version. Mixing the Online game or licence with the original version also fails.

No BIOS or PS3 firmware download is needed. Setup gets the PS3 system software for you.

If setup finds your game automatically but stops at about 23%, choose search for files manually and select the Online game files and licence.

  • A CPU with AVX2Intel Core 4th generation or AMD Ryzen, or newer.
  • 8 GB of memory16 GB recommended. Below that, Low-end mode (1280 x 720).

  • The installer's SHA-256 is 68537a26f25aa970186cf5b049ef3401c932f775b2d6813a25103027d2edd5da. To check it, run Get-FileHash "Project Backdash Setup 0.60.4.exe" in PowerShell.
  • With Smart App Control on (some Windows 11 PCs), there is no Run anyway, and Project Backdash cannot run there yet.
  • We never ask you to turn Windows security off, and never ask for game files, keys or payment.
